I carried over my name from the Pit Bull forum, I tried logging in and found out things had changed since I logged on last. Then I found the link to here

A little over a year ago we lost our Simon & Zoey to old age. We went from two dogs to no dogs within two months, needless to say we need some time before we could bring another pup into our home.

I knew we were approaching that time when I caught my wife on Pet Finder. Then we discussed fostering. A few days later my wife sends me a picture of a dog in the animal shelter. Little did I know at the time her and my youngest were in the process of adopting the little guy

We’ve had him almost two weeks. He’s about six months old and I already have him “learning manners” (sit & stay so far, working on lay down). We meet with our old trainer next week

Update! We decided to name him Elliot. No idea where it came from, but it kinda fits the little guy

Sorry for your loss, it's never nice to lose a dog, as for PBF Kaz saw it fit to cut us off completely from the forum, I was in the middle of a conversation with a member when he closed it, anyway yes thanks for joining & I hope you find a name for that gorgeous pup soon!
