Hi, I'm Ralph. A lot of you will have met me at a field near Haywards Heath...
With my partner Rebecca (aka Bob), I have 5 dogs. They are all cross breeds, and are collectively known as Team AXB. All our dogs come from rescues (apart from Troop, who was advertised free in a local paper), so the breeds are unknown but believed to be as follows:
Biffa - Jack Russell x Staffie
Troop - Working Collie x Rottweiler
Java - Rottweiler x
Nimbus - Saluki lurcher
Tigger - Boxer x
The pack minus Tigger
Tigger

God put dogs on this earth in the hope that man might learn from them courage and loyalty!

Thanks for the welcome! I know I should have found my way here sooner, but my memory is not what it should be. I only got here after looking at the browser history after Bob had used my phone :-s

No, I haven't done any hunting yet with the pack. However, they do like chasing a carrier bag on a stick. We also take nimbus (the lurcher) for walks in fields where there are furries and he gets to amuse himself.

Nimbus prefers to disappear off, rather than chasing the lure. S-| He does like running on a greyhound track, though. His best time for 260m is 20.4 seconds. He has also done 660m in 41.55 seconds.

Nimbus did a lure run on Saturday... He disappeared off across the neighbouring field into another field, chasing something that he had spotted. Once he had finished his chase he came back to me.
