Dock's Gr. Ch Duke was the result of a mother and son mating, both parents being owned by Dock. Out of a litter of four, two pregnant doges were sold up north and Duke and Duchess were kept by Dock.
Both pups showed great promise, but with age Duke started to become very dominant and so they were separated, leaving Duke to run the yard and Duchess in the kennel with the rest. Duke showed great temperament and if kenneled he was a quiet dog. In the house he was no trouble and were great with children, he could however be an expensive dog when he was on the loose as he was hell on four legs and as they say didn't take no prisoners. Duke won five matches all in devastating fashion as was a registered Grand Champion the Sporting dog journal.

You know its kind of odd that you say dogs you would love to own, when you look at the 100 yo pics you must see all our dogs characteristics re emerging in the21st cent,i feel that we are looking at living history you should be proud of yourself and your dogs as we are.if you ask john he can take current dog pics and replicate the era that we speak of,this will prove my point beyond all doubt................watch this space, its a thing i have thought about for some time,be lucky mate and love your dogs
God put dogs on this earth in the hope that man might learn from them courage and loyalty!

Mickey the RockyMountain Bulldogs or Buffdogs as he calls them are just big muscley dogs and that's about it...Not real Bandogs at all, they don't work them so they're just pethome cross breeds.

Granted they're impressive looking but with all that muscle their stamina must be awfull, Deterrant/Guard dogs yes...real bulldogs no!!!!

A few real bulldogs I'd like to have owned...

Crenshaws Jeep
Carvers Stompanato
Colbys Pinscher
Armitages Kager
Bettes Bighead

Stouts Bosshog of Dorsey http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dogs/am ... 26572.html
Ch Joshua http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dogs/am ... 26676.html
Olivers Outlaw http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dogs/am ... 39831.html
Joshuas Sand Valley Sam http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dogs/am ... 26680.html

There's Too many to name lol......
